Everyone, the two women are my daughters Jeannine and Lorraine,
and the fellow is James, Lorraine,s boyfriend. We travelled through France;
onto San Michele which was unbelieveably beautiful. Then to Germany and on to the Czech Republic to Prague.
Both Frankfurt and Nurmburg were spectacular cities.
Prague was the heart of the Bohemia country. There everything was in cobblestone; the streets were in 5 inch cobblestone and the sidewalks were in 2 inch cobblestone.
We went to see the church of the infant of prague which was really nice.
From, there I returned to France to work on my house. I
took another break to visit Ireland for 10 days and look for my Great
grandfather and his family but to no avail. We were looking for ancestors of 165 years aqo and have no record other than a city.
Most records began in 1862 and we were looking in the early 1820,s.
The Famine of the 1840's just devistated the country.
Again I am back in France working on the house and leave for Ajaccio; Corsica for the weekend.
My daughter Jeannine works there. Both my daughters are fluent in English; French and Spanish.
I speak english, spanish, and tourist French.
